Unexpected error from syntax file on Ubuntu 24.04

I copied the forth.yaml file to ~/.config/micro/syntax as it stands here on Github without any mods from my end. I then opened micro, typed some Forth code, pressed Ctrl-e and 'set filetype forth' and got the above error. Yes, I know forth is build in and works from there, but any attempts to provide my own syntax file (even if its an umodified 'official' one fail...)

You can either update your micro to the latest nightly release in which this is fixed, or use an older syntax from v2.0.14 (before #3458).
