@ContemporaryInsanity I was thinking about such feature at the start of Phaseque development, but then I decided to not implement it because it can be done outside of Phaseque (by shifting the voltage coming out of V output with another attenuverter module).
The first development version of Phaseq had the per-step transposition feature (seen on this demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NbFBDwRAu0) but then it got removed to make some space for other controls on the panel.
However, it can be a feature for the panel-extesion module which will be a next big update for the Phaseque. I need to think about it a bit more and decide how to add it to the panel to make it look not too redundant.
How I typically use Phaseque is to setup a pattern in slot 1, then copy that to slot 2, amend it, copy to slot 3, amend etc etc So you can see how I would find it handy to shift a pattern vertically (transpose) as opposed to horizontally (shift) so a dual purpose shift knob would be very useful to me. Similarly, we have a copy steps to next / previous pattern, and a copy reso to all patterns, a copy steps to all patterns would also be useful in the absence of being able to copy & paste patterns from / to individual pattern slots. Will look forward to your expansion module.
Also, I use ML trigger buffers to switch patterns in time with the clock, would it possible to incorporate this functionality into your expansion module?
Could REALLY use a transpose facility in Phaseque, would it be possible for a menu option to toggle the shift knob between shift and transpose please?
