Introduction

Twodsix has had the option to roll the in-world time for an action (e.g. skill rolls) for some time. This feature must be enabled in settings (Advanced Ruleset Settings -> Rolls -> Show Timeframe in Roll Dialog).

With version 5.12+, the system now has the ability to change the Foundry game clock and, optionally, integrate with the module Simple Calendar and/or SmallTime

Choosing a Timeframe

To include a timeframe for a roll, the time units (e.g. seconds, days) must be selected for the roll. If left blank (---), then no timeframe is included with the roll.

Automatically Incrementing In-world Time

The in-world game time can be changed automatically based upon the results of the timeframe roll. There is a ruleset setting to enable this new feature (Advanced Ruleset Settings -> Rolls -> Automatically Advance Game Time).

If the Simple Calendar module is installed, Twodsix will change the time using that modules API. Otherwise, the general Foundry VTT game time is incremented by the results of the roll. This makes Twodsix compatible with other time tracking modules, such as SmallTime.

Please note that Foundry VTT does not have the native ability to show/display the in-world time. You must use a module to interact with the game time.
