Sphere Model

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am building a sphere.... and would like to start at the top....
I'd also like to do 16 pixels down and 17 pixels up (skipping every other hole) like can be done with a mega tree....

My model is 24 strings
nodes/string is 33

total nodes is 792
Describe the solution you'd like
any way to add the "skip every other hole" or "alternate nodes" to be added to the sphere model?

Describe alternatives you've considered
if not, I guess I'll have to use the mega tree model for a sphere and use it as a column instead?!?
