clone the tracktion_engine repo and build from scratch
guide: README

one of the examples provided is DemoRunner, which is an app that shows how to do various things.

the goal is to see if DemoRunner connects to the audio server correctly, since we're having trouble with that in the box code.
if yes - problem is box code
if no - problem is audio server setup
