As a result of the meeting in Madrid (see the agenda) on Dec. 19th, 2024, it was agreed on the need to more carefully distinguished between attempted action and requested action. In addition, we need to represent the performed actions. Examples:

  • ATTEMPT: "I double click on a foto". I have no permission, so the photo is not rendered. But my attempt is recorded and eventually punished.
  • REQUEST: "I ask whether I can see a foto or not". I have no permission, so I am answered "no".
  • PERFORMED: "I opened the foto" (possibly violating a permission in the monitoring scenario).

Action for @fornaran: Review the text of the Formal Semantics document to check that we are using consistently these terms.
