Hi,
Could you please update the Heal with G'MIC plugin (.scm)?
Because with the latest GIMP 3 RC3 update, the plugin is broken, and so far, this is the only alternative to Resynthesizer until it gets rewritten.

On my desktop there is a version with a different failure, I would also like the script to do its job, I have Gmic but only a few days, but I still don't know how to solve the problems, fortunately on Gimp 2.10 it still works.

I have this version of your plugin downloaded from this site: http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=21504
I use Windows 11 BTW.

Script-fu for 2.10 not works in 3.0 rc, but inpainting filters of G'mic works, my script not works in 3.0, and at this time is not solvable.

Have you tried rewriting your script in Python? From what I’ve checked, the rembg plugin rewritten for GIMP 3 works on RC 1, 2, and 3.

Hi
I wanted to let you know that Resynthesizer has been rewritten for GIMP 3!

I requires to put heal selection scripts to the plugin-ins folder and also the compiled resynthesizer to the plugin-ins folder.

Generally SCM goes to the script and python folder and other things in plugin inside a folder with the name of the plugin contained inside the plugin folder ... but I Python and Plugin does not use them, I am too dyslexic for the Python. And in Gimp 3.0 the plugins do not yet exist or are not guaranteed functioning. (RC means release candidates).

In Linux it is also necessary to give execution permits (chmod +x).

Well, I thought that .scm files only worked in the scripts folder, but it turned out they can also work from the plug-ins folder. From what I’ve tested, everything works fine, and the Resynthesizer runs like a charm in RC3.

Excellent at least you have something that works ... think that strange to me, on Linux, Resynthesizer and Heal Transparency do not go, and there is the usual incomprehensible error.

For once Windows is useful.

Maybe you have time to try if this works satisfactorily.
I find that Heal Selection is better not to use it.
