Introducing Vaadin Copilot

Vaadin Copilot is a handy development tool that’s ready to assist you whenever you run an application in development mode. Copilot is a visual development tool and it’s an AI-powered assistant. You can inspect and edit the UI, and use generative AI to help with a variety of tasks.

Main features of Copilot

  • Next generation of Developer Tools
  • Allows to modify your application views by drag and drop operations (for Hilla, enable feature flag for Flow)
  • Introduces components palette similar to one known from start.vaadin.com
  • Provides outline of document to clearly see components hierarchy
  • Contains Theme Editor with new Browser Inspector integration
  • Introduces new Accessibility and Internationalization features
  • and much more!

Getting started

  • Activate Copilot using Vaadin button on bottom right of your view while working in development mode
