I am a local science tutor and am doing a project about weather with my class.

We wanted to implement your creation owmneopixelbarometer.py using the 1 m LED strip from Pixelhut. The LED is connected correctly and I am able to light up the LED's.

I am having trouble getting the owmneopixelbarometer.py to run.

I get the following message - not all arguments converted during string formatting.

I was wondering whether you could take a look at the file so that this could be implemented in the class.

I realized that I should not have edited the url. I fixed that, and entered the API key, correct LAT and LON in the script above.

Now running the script says

Getting Data
Data Error, Now Sleeping, Trying again in 5 min
'current'

Not sure how to interpret the above?
Any help on editing the file to get the data would be great.

Thanks for the comment - Open Weather Map has changed the way the API works - its still free but needs a payment card subscription to sign up - can i check if you have access to the new API?

Yes, I did sign up for the subscription.

They also changed how API reads Current Conditions - so try this out owmneopixelbarometerAPI3.txt

I have just run a test myself and your right it threw an errror - its now fixed :) - the updated code is in the github - note the lat long no longer need "" but the API Key does... GitHub Link
