402-chess

This repository exists for the purpose of sharing code-related work between the members of Team 13 of the UTK Spring 2019 Senior Design 402 class for a project on creating a chess board with piece tracking, invalid-move detection, and web broadcasting capabilities. Those team members are Kendra Anderson, Eli Harris, Ben Sergent V, Adam Short, John Smith, and Tristan Spakes.

Getting Started

• Download all the supporting packages with npm install
• Test with npm run dev
• Run with npm run prod
• Everything's written in TypeScript
• The actual website is under /www/*
• The web server code is under /server/*

Goals of the Project:

• Create a physical board with the sensors needed to monitor the status of the game and actions being taken
