The Model Store
Objects in the model store are made from something that is called a simulation object. This is because in an very early day of development of the whole system it was ment to be used for event based simulations alone.
But today the same objects can be used to hold application data and specificaly model data. Such a model will be best created with the same UML modeller that I use for the rest of the povmodeller. And the code generation tool will do most of the work for the application developer.
As many other models the povmodeller model will be a tree and so we need a root object. From the same early days this is called the main view port.
For now the main view port only contains a number of projects
