i ran the spotispy.exe /K and saw that it looks at the 4370 range, but my client uses 4070 as far as i can see.
Anyways, i've let it run for a good while and it never connected.

The wallpaper-engine theme with spotispy is throwing mad errors also.

Are you sure the web helper is running on 4070? Also what version of Spotify are you currently running? I was just able to successfully connect on version 1.0.53.758.gde3fc4b2.
I don't know how to look up which port the webhelper is using, it didn't list under the resource monitor.
Spotify version 0.9.15.27.g87efe634 (using older by choice, since they removed mp3 drag'n'drop feature in newer versions)
@celestialorb An issue similar to this one was recently resolved in the latest commit. Spotify recently changed their WebHelper's listening port range. Please try the latest commit and let me know if you still have issues. A release with the fix should be available soon.
