Thank you for a great software package! I have a couple of questions related to the normalisation step in scVelo.
My understanding is that each layer (spliced, unspliced) is normalised independently. Could you please explain why this is the case, instead of normalising spliced and unspliced counts by the total number of molecules (spliced + unspliced) in a given cell?
