Chapter numbering

The AU template shows chapters numbered with Roman numerals, starting at introduction.

References and appendices continue the numbering

Our template has arabic numbering, and ref + appendix are not numbered.

Related issue with numbering of tables and figures, which should follow

(there are no examples below). Currently lot/lof render as top-level 1,2,3,..... I use a mix of "inline" figures/tables and some from manuscripts. The numbering-scheme is not explained for this combination.

In the Word doc of alternative template, a third! style and "list of tables" and "list of figures" are reversed in order 🙃
