SpecLog can collect test execution statistics from a SpecRun server using the SpecRun plugin. These statistics can then be displayed in the Speclog client

Plugin Configuration

To configure the plugin:

  1. Ensure that the plugin is located in the /Plugins folder on the server.
    Note: Plugins are automatically installed here
  2. Select Manage repositories from the menu and connect to the SpecLog server.
  3. Select Configure plugins for the repository you want to synchronize work items with:
  4. Select Configure for the plugin you want to configure from the menu on the right:
  5. Enter the necessary information to allow the service to access the SpecRun server:
  • SpecRun Server URL: The base URL of the SpecRun service
  • Project ID (guid): The value of the projectId attribute in the Settings element in the srprofile file. This value identifies the project on the SpecRun server
  • Update interval: The polling interval in minutes. Determines how often the plugin polls the SpecRun server for updates.
