Teleport pipes are uncraftable

Playing in 1.12.2 in the Classic Pack and I cannot craft teleport pipes. They appear on the Assembly Table when I put the recipe together, but clicking on them does nothing. They are not selected nor do they start crafting. The laser does not fire. Does not work in creative or survival no matter how much power is given. Right clicking does not work either.

EDIT: I was able to craft the pipes, but only after logging out and logging back in again. This seems to be the only way so far to craft them.
