I have a background in Finance and Foreign Languages, before pivoting into tech in 2021. Specialising in MERN stack, but also have technical experience in Java, SQL, and AI. Outside of work, I pursue my passion for promoting DE&I, advocating for equal and equitable representation in technology, and teaching software development through organising Code & Chill events in Leeds. I have delivered talks for companies including Ministry of Justice, Coding Black Females, AND Digital, BCS, and contribute to National Conferences like the Yorkshire Post's Digital and Data Conference.

🎤 Speaking and Community Engagement

I'm a regular speaker at events and conferences, sharing my experiences and insights on diversity, equity, inclusion, and neurodiversity. Featured in 'The Voices in the Shadow' (Volume 4) by GTA Black Women in Tech, a book highlighting 51 influential Black women in UK tech. This publication empowers Black women and girls by showcasing successful career paths in the industry.

📚 Continuous Learning

While excelling in my tech career, I'm also pursuing a part-time degree in French and Spanish with the Open University, showcasing my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth.

🤝 Mentoring and Teaching

I'm passionate about giving back to the tech community by mentoring and teaching software development. I volunteer as a Teaching Assistant for Black Codher, mentor for Coding Black Females, and guide final year Computer Science students at Leeds Trinity University.

🌟 Diversity in STEM Advocacy

I actively promote STEM education for young women, partnering with organisations like Ahead Partnerships to participate in workshops such as GirlTech, introducing young pupils to the tech industry.
