A lab experiment design template.

Getting started

Get the template source

git clone https://github.com/sustain-lab/experiment-template
cd experiment-template

Edit the template

Either edit the template markdown file (TEMPLATE.md) and then build the pdf using pandoc, or edit the Word document (TEMPLATE.docx) directly.

Build the pdf

If you edited TEMPLATE.md, build the pdf by typing make. Pandoc is the required dependency.

Before the experiment

1. Fill out the experiment template document;
2. Send to other lab members for feedback and notice;
3. Iterate on the experiment design until happy;
4. Archive the experiment design doc (Evernote, email, or Github)
5. Do the experiment :).
