For convenience there is a docker image available.
docker run -i --rm -v"$(pwd)":/data panda panda /data/samples/panda_format/sample_1

// if you had installed panda manually
Explanation of the above command:
docker run -i --rm -v"$(pwd)":/data panda panda /data/samples/panda_format/sample_1
