I've been looking for xmltodict but for rust and happened to find this package. Would it be possible to also release this as a library for rust?

That's a good idea, but I think it requires some minor changes to the code as well as pipelines, and I don't think I'll have time this week. Feel free to submit a PR if you can't wait.

I'm a rust novice (I come from python land) so I don't think I can help much on the rust side of things, sorry. That's pretty much why I was looking for xmltodict because it makes it easier for a novice like me to deal with XMl files.
