Hi! - I'm Erik Oostveen. I am based in the UK and I design electronics with music.
For as long as I can remember, I have been attracted to electronic music and was lucky enough to be around when electronic dance music, as a gerne, took off in the early 1980s.
It wasn’t until around 2010 that I started to apply my electronics skills to design circuits to make my synth setups work better together – and many projects followed.
At around 2017, I decided to put my designs online for others to build and enjoy.
Apart from the practical project design challenges themselves, there’s a lot involved in documenting all aspects (diagrams, code, printed circuit board design, front panel designs, product manuals/guides etc.) in order for other people to copy the end-product and make it work.
Your sponsorship will help me recoup on expenditures – and all goes back into the next project, because, after all, this is a creative outlet for me to look at music production in new ways and form ideas to improve or add to it.
