My name is Eric J Fisher,

I've worked in software dev fast approaching 2 decades, granted I switched to teaching software dev about 5 years ago. These days I've focused on teaching software development as a content author as well as volunteer to at schools in my area to promote science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

I've done work in public outreach specifically around helping get under represented demographics financial and resource help in pursuing college education in STEM programs. Encouraging STEM in middle and elementary schools with a focus on struggling schools. As well as helping create services to help teachers connect with technical professionals to promote STEM education in schools. (The now defunct Central Florida STEM Educators Connection program)

I want to be able to do more of that without those costs coming out of pocket. In addition to that I have pet projects I do from time to time such as make 3rd party tools for various games and hobbies I enjoy. 3rd party tools that sometimes make sense to share to their respective communities.
