Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Add a section in the documentation to describe the different behaviours the user gets when using time series fixed resolution and variable resolution. Also, include how the boundary conditions are considered in the model.

In addition, add a warning when data is not sufficient; problems might occur if you use, for example, the fixed resolution and don't specify an extra block to cover the end of the model. This problem was found in the EU case study from WP5 in the Mopo project.

Describe the solution you'd like

  • New docs section
  • Warning where there is not enough data rather than an error

Describe alternatives you've considered
N.A.

Additional context
Part of the coordination WP5-WP4 in the Mopo project.
