Approved all formatting and grammar edits. Did some major re-writes to the first section to address issues that came up in earlier parts, and to make some of my explanations more clear and accurate. However, I think some of the comments you made about evolutionary biology are not entirely correct.

Found some more minor corrections. Otherise, this article appears ready to go. I included a comment to think about, but I don't think it warrants a rewrite.
