Hosting
When you start Smash Soda for the first time, you will be asked to provide your login details for Soda Arcade. This is a new service by me that replaces Parsec's discontinued Arcade, but it's completely optional (you will then have to share your Parsec share link manually with people). You will not be able to set your room as Public Room
until you have logged in to Soda Arcade.
You can create an account here, it's free and painless! https://soda-arcade.com/register
In the Hosting
widget you can customize your room settings.
If hosting on Soda Arcade, the Game Name
is required, otherwise you can leave this blank.
If hosting publically on Soda Arcade, you have 2 additional fields, Details
and Poster Theme
. Details
is a small description displayed when somebody clicks your room listing. Poster Theme
allows you to change the theme of how your room listing looks (which are modelled to look like posters).
Share Link
is a link you can give to users over Discord or whatever, that will automatically connect them to your room if they have Parsec installed.
Guest Limit
is the maximum number of users permitted to join your room.
Public Room
will post your room to Soda Arcade when enabled.
Latency Limiter
will automatically kick users whose latency exceeds the set value.

To begin hosting, just click the big play button, and to stop hosting, click the big square button. Whilst your room is live you can change your room settings, and then click Update Settings
to update your room details on both Parsec and Soda Arcade.
