  • Re-organize the repo directory structure to remove the "Day x" folders. These seem to not be useful. Jupyter Notebooks should be available under the same directory so they are easy to find and use.
  • Add dedicated 'Git Walkthrough' video to the YouTube channel. Emphasize a step-by-step example using GitHub Desktop and the Command Line (in Windows).
  • Add dedicated 'Introduction to Git using Terminal' video to the YouTube channel. Emphasize a step-by-step example using the Terminal.
  • Create a "quick introduction" Jupyter Notebook to hit on the highlights of the Python programming language for people who want a quick look. This will be complement to the 'full' fundamentals Jupyter Notebook. The "quick" Jupyter Notebook will be the one discussed during the workshop. The "full" Jupyter Notebook will be distributed to registrants two-weeks before the event.
  • Create individual domain-specific Jupyter Notebooks for Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Robotics, Computational Geometry and IIoT so people interested in a certain topic can just zip to those.
  • Develop at least two (2) do-it-yourself projects for per workshop day. Participants will either have the opportunity to work on the projects and/or listen to an overview of the "full" Jupyter Notebook. So there will be multiple paths available for people to learn Python depending on their personal preferences.

Remove the 'Introduction to Git' slide decks as they
are probably inappropriate for this workshop, they will
be placed in the 'slides' repo instead.
