Current scope

Location Bias:

The project takes into consideration the location where the picture is taken to determine any geographic or location bias that dominates the share-ability of a certain image. The question here is are images that are taken in a certain geographic region within a national park are more shareable than others?

Future ideas

Simulating Mark-Recapture model using pictures shared on social media.

Of all the 9406 that we were taken on GZC, the date of the pictures range across 5 or more days.

For purpose of simulation, March 1 and March 2 were chosen as the dates of mark-recapture. (The dates could be changed in the API and is parameterized.)
