We have to be careful with wording to not get banned from stores #10

I would really like to have this feature on my phone, in some way, and expand on it. And I really dislike having multiple apps. On the other hand, already having the 0xF... mentioned in the app source code might be/become a risk to the app's Play store listing. At the start, any app with eve a tiny mention of COV*D anywhere in the description or in the app interface would be enough to get the app reviewed and potentially banned.

So I'd like to suggest we do not include this functionality at least in the version distributed through Play store.

I think there's bigger value for our potential users to have the app steadily available in the play store, than that we cover what marq24's app is already doing.
We could maybe have different versions for Play store and Amazon/F-Droid distributions.

More background: I would normally commute on the Brnik - Ljubljana bus line and I'm interested in making an (unscientific) measurement of how big amount of travellers are using some app. This whole watch-the-watchers, or just due to our personal curiosity, might actually be a good idea to try to add in the existing app that started doing this -- and having technical issues -- to let each app project keep focus.
