The limitations of the current custom report are apparent: it lacks the ability to further filter data once it's retrieved from Jira, and its architecture falls short when it comes to column grouping.

To address these limitations, we've embarked on a journey to build Pivot Reports from the ground up. Our goal is to provide you with a reporting tool that boasts the following remarkable features:

• Flexible Grouping: Enjoy the freedom to group data by both columns and rows, and even create subgroups, all while easily calculating totals for each group.
• Aggregation Options: Pivot Reports empowers you to use aggregation functions seamlessly alongside grouping, enhancing your data's analytical depth.
• Detailed Data Representation: Dive into the finer details of your data, such as worklogs, comments, linked issues, and more. We recognize that these elements are vital components of each issue, and Pivot Reports ensures they are accessible and customizable.
