Adaptive randomization often requires continuous exchange of infromation between different units. To reduce the requirements of unnecessary processes and minimize man-made errors, the BayCAR randomization method is developed into a Shiny application. Meanwhile, a REDCap API is used to streamline data input, output to achieve automated adaptive randomization. With proper setup, the BARs package is expected to perform data input, output, and adaptive randomization by clicking on a desktop icon.
