Should the dialog component use the native dialog tag?

I'm just wondering what's the reason for not using it. Elsewhere, for example the date picker, Shoelace is leveraging native elements where possible.

Shoelace's dialog component was created before <dialog> had decent browser support.

I'd like to switch to <dialog> at some point, as that would let us remove the messy focus trapping logic. However, it's not clear how dialog.showModal() would support third-party modals that don't yet use <dialog>, so this would be a breaking change.

The answer is probably "wait a bit for others to catch up" if we want to continue supporting those use cases.
