What would this do that <a> doesn't do? By the way, did you know that setting href (and optionally target) on <sl-button> will render a link under the hood? This plus the text variant might get you what you want. (Keep in mind you can attach your own custom styles to change fonts/paddings/underlines.)

Please see the discussion in #397 as to why this doesn't exist, specifically my comment here:

Again, CSS Grid covers even the most complex layouts. I highly recommend using it. But providing some kind of built-in utility for layouts would encourage everyone to use the "Shoelace solution" instead of choosing any off the shelf solution that may work better for them.

If you want a flexbox grid, use one. If you like Tailwind's grid system, use that instead. If you prefer plain ol' CSS grid, go for it.

This isn't missing from Shoelace — it doesn't belong in it.

table component

You can follow #134 for updates on this. I doubt it will be a component. It will probably end up being a theme-level thing that you can use along with <table>, but I'm still exploring options.
