PushShift is Down

PushShift is currently broken, due to API restrictions that Reddit staff are implementing. As a result, I will be unable to support any further PushShift-related feature development until (and if) they work something out with Reddit. In the interim, RMD will be (at least) partially broken. PushShift was a critically important resource for locating old post data and finding many posts in a rapid manner, which Reddit does not officially support through their own API. It is extremely difficult to move forward without the PS service. Please note that this has nothing to do with the PushShift developers, and everything to do with the staff at Reddit making creative and damaging decisions about their API access.

Reading between the lines from Reddit admin posts, it seems likely that Reddit will further restrict their own API moving forward, further limiting what RMD is capable of doing. In the event that API access does further shrink, RMD will be unable - and unwilling
to work around such changes.
