Sand Ocean Skybox is different

The new skybox looks nice, but it kinda changes the atmosphere of the stage, and also the original skybox evidences the moon which is a major plot point not much later in the game, right next to the pyramid where they take the rocket etc.
Probably more of a dreamcast restoration kind of thing, but worth keeping in mind

I was thinking about this and while I don't have the know how to see if the moon is anywhere behind the skybox or something wild but not inconceivable like that, I was able to find the moon within the SA2B texture files.

This does tell me there's a chance something fishy is going on here, but again, I don't have the know how to check that.
I may be talking about stuff that's already been checked for at this point, but it's worth bringing up just in case.
