Determine the best way to access back-end or VCU from front-end to accomplish some tasks

This is gonna be a task for the VCU test board team, but essentially what needs to happen is whatever button you click in the GUI will initiate some callback function to start an automated test sweep. This will be a UART packet from the computer python script to the launchpad which then emulates whatever signal
