Is it possible to change animation direction

Hi,

I am trying to add a detail panel and match Apple's transition in the Maps app. Is it possible to change the direction when calling show method? Currently it appears from the bottom, I am trying to make it animate from the right on iPad.

Here is my layout class:

Please try the Maps example app in iPad. The right side panel can be presented by tapping "Marked Location (Right panel)" in the location stub list below the search bar at the top right of the map. The implementation is DetailPanelPadRightLayout.
