empty dialog windows

I observed a strange behaviour:

used inside a VM (Win11 host, Archlinux (X11, Xfce4, gtk) guest in virtualbox)
everything is fine with 3D acceleration off

when I set 3D acceleration on,
only my programs using pfd show empty dialog-windows (only decorations). Everything else, all other programs, working normal as expected.
Buttons - even if not displayed work when clicked on.

As only my self written programs utilizing pfd seem to be affected (well I don't know if other programs I use utilize pfd...) I guess its a pfd bug.
