It is currently not possible to deactivate the hotbar item.
You can only remove it in the Panel.yml.

However, this is not practical if you want to use it for younger players like me.

So the solution should be;
Players who do not want this can deactivate the panel for themselves and this is also saved accordingly.

Under the link you will find the already customised version, but it has no memory function and is written rather ‘badly’ :D

But it works..

I would be happy in any case if you make a new version with it, which has toogel hotbars

This video shows an already customised version that disables the hotbar item.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for me to save it and it is reset when I join.

But that should be possible for you.

It also should check if there is already an item, it's on my backpack now and there is no command to disable it

  I removed it from the config now my backpack with al my items are gone, this really bad!
