boot/mount as read only? does any important service need wirteable? use it anyone as ro?

Hy guys
i want to use the system as read-only device. So i keep care my sd-card.
Does anybody use rAudio in read-only mount?

with raspi os it looks like very easy, but with arch linux, it need to be setup a few settings.
