App crashes whenever I click on Ruby 2.1.0 in OSX 10.9 fully updated #207
Comments
I ran across this earlier this week. The crash is caused by the available patches detection code. I've fixed this in master and will work on releasing an update very soon. |
any updates on the fix? thanks. |
Running OS X v10.9.1. Just downloaded Jewelrybox v1.5. Seemed to install ok. Launched, asked me if I wanted to install RVM, did that. But at next step it crashed. Crashes immediately on relaunch. Any chance of fixing this? This happened just after I read unfiniti's Mission Statement ("... we get the job done quickly and reliably"). The problem is that I am old and cynical :( |
Ruby site states that newest stable version is 2.1.1, but when selects this version in Jewelrybox v1.5 ruby list Jewelrybox crashes. remear claimed that he fixed this issue 2 months ago, but apparently the fix was not applied yet to release version. When we can expect it to be fixed? PS: meanwhile have to switch back to command line tools, if want to use latest ruby. |
Can also confirm this issue when trying to install 2.1.1 on JB 1.5 OX 10.9.2 |
Same issue here. Cannot successfully install ruby-2.1.1 or ruby-2.1-head. I'm running JB 1.5.1700 on OS X 10.9.2. Any word on when an update might be coming for JB? |
Same issue here. Can't use Jewelrybox at all. |
Please help - Ruby 2.1.2 is now available and JeweleryBox still crashes whenever I try to install it. This seems to be the same issue as was reported previously for Ruby 2.1.1. Has anyone figured out how to work around this? |
Same problem here with ruby2.1+ on OSX 10.9.4 |
Has this project been disbanded? I am running into the same issue which has been around for almost the entire year. I hope on getting a fix out anytime soon? Crash Log:

Everything can be selected but Ruby 2.1.0.
