Capitalization of French layer names in selector

Describe the bug

In French, the layer names in the dropdown selector are mixed between capitalized and not capitalized.
When adding to the map, the longer name is capitalized.

I don't know what's correct, but if the client hasn't explicitly asked for this scheme I'd consider making things consistent in the picker.
