When a client disables their scoreboard, or dies and tries to respawn while on a version older than 1.20.4 (joining via ViaBackwards) they are kicked with the following error:
[12:06:18] [Render thread/WARN]: Client disconnected with reason: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.io.IOException: Packet play/93 (class_2757) was larger than I expected, found 16 bytes extra whilst reading packet 93
The client versions that have been tested for sure are 1.20.1 and 1.20.2.
The disconnect only happens in the 2 stated situtations from what I can tell, things like enabling the scoreboard, switching worlds, ect. does not seem to trigger it.
If this is a ViaBackwards issue I can create an issue there, this seems to be the only plugin triggering the disconnect though.

3.12.5
Server Version
git-Purpur-2119 (MC: 1.20.4)
Describe the Bug
When a client disables their scoreboard, or dies and tries to respawn while on a version older than 1.20.4 (joining via ViaBackwards) they are kicked with the following error:
The client versions that have been tested for sure are 1.20.1 and 1.20.2.
The disconnect only happens in the 2 stated situtations from what I can tell, things like enabling the scoreboard, switching worlds, ect. does not seem to trigger it.
If this is a ViaBackwards issue I can create an issue there, this seems to be the only plugin triggering the disconnect though.
