CFP Reviewer

Abhishek Yadav edited this page Jun 10, 2019 · 2 revisions

A CFP reviewer is a person who gets to review and vote proposals submitted to the CFP.

This person should be -

  • Experienced in one of the fields of Python usage (eg - Machine Learning, Embedded Systems, Web development etc)
  • Have some prior experience with technical conferences - as a speaker or reviewer
  • Should be familiar with the Indian Python community
  • Should not have applied with a talk proposal, and should not have any other conflicts of interest

How it works:

  • The CFP volunteers will guide the reviewer through the CFP portal (accounts setup etc)
  • CFP volunteers will recommend proposals that need to be reviewed (these are proposals that are complete in terms of details).
  • The reviewer can read through the proposal, ask questions (via comments) and can finally vote on the talk.

Other rules:

  • Reviewers' names will be kept secret until the CFP process is complete
  • The final list of talks will generally be based on the reviewer votes.
