Yes, I'm aware of that. I plan to add support for this at some point, but I'm not using M1 a lot, so it's low priority for now. Box64 works fine without this mode already (with it's integrated TSO simulation), but I do expect this to make things a bit faster when some kind of TSO is needed on the M1 family CPUs. |

Hi,
So, just wondering if this might help things for box64. Probably not, because it's either already implemented, or not useful.
But apparently you can tell Apple silicon to use a TSO memory model. I have no idea what that means, but it seems like it makes x86 emulation faster.
Here's a suggested linux kernel patch to enable it.
But, in case this is actually useful, I thought I'd post this here....
