hook tasks to shell?

I use pre-commit hooks and want to force other developers to use those.
Can I hook 'pre-commit install' to 'pixi shell' e.g. via a pluign?
Initially I thought 'pixi shell-hook' would provide something like this but I was mistaken, was I?
This project is what I always wished for! Good work!

We've got an ongoing conversation to add Lifecycle scripts to pixi like NPM does. So you would be able to create a post-install task for example.

In theory, you can add a [activation.scripts] and run pre-commit in those. But please don't link that to my profile, as I do not want to be known for telling that that is a good workflow 😉.
