To catch broken links you can run this every time you do a major refactoring of the documentation.

wget --spider  -o wget.log  -e robots=off --wait 1 -r -p https://docs.kidger.site/equinox/

I like the wget trick. Perhaps time for me to write a small "build docs" script that includes that.
