Future of Lesson Player

Good morning everyone,
I would like to know your opinions about the future of Lesson Player: this is a project that can evolve in several different ways, and of course with different efforts for me (and anyone who want to contribute with the code) and/or requirements for the end user.

I mainly thought of these possible ideas:

1. Transform this website in a webapp with Electron, installable on Windows/Mac/Linux, with FFmpeg already inside (like Silence SpeedUp). In this way most of the operations could be automatized (like importing lessons and get their silences) and the end user could focus on watching them (taking notes etc...). On the other hand, lessons won't be online (in the local network) anymore, unless there exists a simply way to make it create a server.
2. Continue the way of the website, by adding user accounts, password protection and every other thing a website should have. In this way the end user won't be (at least not always) the same user that watch the lessons, but the one who uploads the lessons so that others can watch them (I'm thinking about schools or companies with lots of video contents, or just people who want to share their own contents in their own websites).
3. No upgrade, but split this project into two: the core (that consists in videojs plugins), and the platform (that is how courses and lessons are shown and organized), and continue developing them separately. This won't change how the end user use the software, but allows me or anyone interested in, to easily port the core to other platforms, such as LMS (like ILIAS), to improve/enhance them.
4. Nothing: do not upgrade this project and continue to just add things and plugins to better interact with video lessons.
