Having support across protocols sounds great, that's awesome! And I think the name
From a feature standpoint, Maybe i3lock and swaylock have major flaws that warlock could fix, then I'll gladly stand completely corrected! Or maybe you're just looking for an interesting project and to create an alternative in the space, and IMO that's totally worthwhile too. |

I'd like to get some feedback on your usage of i3lockr. Recently, I've been working on another rewrite. This should fix multi-monitor setups and add support for wayland (wlr and xdg-portal(?)) as well.
The more I think about it, I think it would make sense of i3lockr (to be renamed warlock to become its own screen locker, rather than just an image processor. However, I think this would be a much larger undertaking. Which is fine...
Taking a brief look at some of the requirements, Rust support for PAM seems to be lacking, with a couple established crates that haven't been updated in years, and some forks that have been updated. I'm not sure of the longevity of these crates, and I don't want to resort to writing my own FFI wrappers.
So, where you you like to see i3lockr (warlock) go next?
