When we think about [transforming our cities], we often ignore [the underlying institution]. Instead, we think about all the things we do [in public]---[the schools we attend], [the offices we avoid], [the festivals we enjoy]. The [tool] that enables it all, [the institution], is so ubiquitous that it’s ignored.
Despite the ways [our citywide planning] has evolved, [the institution] has remained relatively unchanged. While all of our [other social tools] are [innovating for the future]–with [machine learning], [blockchain technology], and [biomimicry innovation]---[the institution] largely still does what it did [since we started playing this game].
What’s more, we blame ourselves for [the institution’s] shortcomings. When [our institution] has [an overwhelming amount of corruption], [we blame the “other” side]; when [we disagree with one another], [we tell ourselves we need more censorship]; [when can’t find a single “truth”], [we think we’re doomed]. Why does [the institution] get a free pass?
That’s why we’re building a new [institution], which we call [hu3agency: we’re all right], because we believe [institution] can do so much more to empower us. We’re imagining [an institution] that can [elevate unbiased perspectives], [demystify how to change our neighborhoods], and [invest in our creative community projects]. [An institution] equipped for the way we use [the our cities] in 2023, and foundational for how we [plan] to use them in the future.
