A modern Cookiecutter template for Python packages and apps

Hi! We built a modern Cookiecutter template for scaffolding Python packages and apps that I'd like to share:

Projects scaffolded with the template allow anyone to contribute easily by cloning the repository and starting a Dev Container. The template focuses on having a maximum of best practices implemented with a minimum of complexity. And when the template itself is updated, you can integrate those updates in your project with cruft update.
